Slums: cities of tomorrow is the documentary that made the most entries in Quebec in 2014. Great job from the distributor Les Films du 3 mars.

Catching a lion

This anti-war movie by  Vladimir Kanic, that I had the pleasure to mix and edit, will be screened at the BFI London Film festival in october 2014.  Working with the off-camera sound was crucial for this film.

About the use of music in TV and fiction

Sometimes I think we use to much music to over dramatize scenes. The actors and the plot need to be the main attraction. Music is there to occupy an emotional space between the image and the viewer.

Slum: cities of tomorrow

I had so much fun making this soundtrack with my friend director Jean-Nicolas Orhon and  had a lot of pleasure mixing the music with Bernard-Gariepy Strobl at Vision Globale.
